11 months
So now that Beck is 11 months and a big kid, I decided it's high time we start teaching him how to sweep... you know, take part in the family tasks, make sure he's a hard worker right from the start. Who needs to walk to be able to sweep? Just look how happy he is to clean.
Or maybe instead Beck just likes to get into anything that bangs around and makes noise... like the sweeper hitting the dishwasher. Yes, Beck is all boy. He loves to rough-house with dad, make lots of weird grunt noises while making his face turn bright red, and is determined to get into things that could be trouble. Yesterday he was pushing the ironing board around (why yes, it was up in the middle of the living room... where else do you iron?) and started lifting up one side of it. Besides being nervous it was going to fall over, we were surprised he could lift it... strong little guy! His latest is saying 'na' or 'na-na' sometimes very, Very loudly. I'm starting to think that it's his version of 'no-no,' as he has been saying it at times when he's frustrated with the situation or I'm saying 'no-no' to him (I know, the day has come when I've started using the dreaded phrase that I will have to fight saying too often for awhile!).
He's getting very comfortable with pulling himself up but showing no signs of walking soon. Overall, he's been a pretty fun and goofy little guy lately that gives us lots of laughs.

These pictures of Beck are so cute! Very impressive that you have him vacuuming already.:) I can't believe he's already 11 months! Are you planning a big one-year bash for him?
